History of the Maple Street Penguins

Back in 2001, we decided to have a different type of Christmas display and chose a penguin theme in lieu of Santa Claus. Like Pinoccio, the penguins have come alive and have entertained commuters and locals alike. The ever changing wintertime display has alleviated the winter doldrums in this New England town.

But then something happened. The Penguins were stolen. See pictures from the Grand Theft and then the Reunion. It was even covered in the local newspapers:
